Frequently asked questions

Podiatrists are foot health experts who are University trained to prevent, diagnose, treat and rehabilitate medical and surgical conditions of the foot and ankle. These conditions can stem from existing chronic conditions or acute injuries.

No you do not. Anyone is welcome to call and make an appointment at any time. You will have to pay the full cost of the consult or use your private health fund.

There are however, some referrals that can help reduce the cost. A valid medicare referral from your GP will cover majority of the cost of your consult. We do not bulk bill so there will still be a small fee left over.

DVA and NDIS referral holders will have their consult costs covered by their respective organisations.

Please call our lovely reception staff on (07) 3216 5505 to make a booking. They will happily answer any of your questions should you have any.

As we operate out of Goodsports Physio, please specify that you are wanting to book a podiatry appointment and let us know if you have any referrals or imaging to bring in with you.
